So I am officially out of my fragrance bottle. Let me tell you about the most expensive bottle of perfume I ever got. It was called J’Adore by Christian Dior. On a random shopping spree with my roomie – Jasmin, off we went to this mall called Pune Central. Sale was on, could be not, we loved sale season. Every girl does.So this perfume was an instant purchase due to the look and feel of the beautiful bottle and of course the low price on sale. It was unbelievable and my jasmin said I should go ahead and buy it. It was my first bottle of the most expensive fragrance I had officially ever brought for myself. Christian Dior wasn’t a small brand name after all.
The smell was beautiful, radiant, sensual and sophisticated. This was the mix: bouquet of orchids, velvet touch of Damascus plum, mellowness of Amaranth wood, Blackberry Musk, and African Orchid.
And the plus side to this was the bottle was so beautiful. Looking through the top, I could see a close shot of my eye and its lashes. Oh, you wouldn’t understand unless you have a bottle of j’adore! J
So the liquid fantasy is over! My dad is a great collector of perfumes; he has brought almost all the high end brands men and women included. They all smell wonderful with a great taste, tucked away all in the corner of the room in a white drawer. Perfume by perfume and bottle by bottle they are used by all members of the house.
So I rushing to the office in the morning needed something to put on and go ahead and put my hand in the white drawer. The first box that I get hold of is an orange one and I read carefully. The words say ‘Mirabai’ Sounded interesting. So I decide this is going in my purse for the next few months. The fragrance was almost orgasmic.
Peaches 'n' Cream topped with blackcurrants, but it totally doesn't end there. The rosewood /jasmine notes come out nicely as well, and it gradually dries into a lovely amber vanilla-sandalwood base. It’s absolutely yummy, and for people who generally don’t like vanilla (like me) this is a perfect combination.
So every time I slip my fingers through my hair, I feel the fragrance whiff past me and it just amazes me of how much I really liked the smell. And I am surely going to treasure this one.
